Nearby club member Matt Jones has charged to the lead early in the second round of the Australian Open golf in Sydney.
The US PGA star has picked up three strokes in his 10 six holes at The Australian Golf Club to move to 7-below-par for the championship and one clear of overnight leader Lincoln Tighe.
But Adam Scott is going backwards on his front nine and is now seven shots off the pace.
Scott took a bogey at the par-three 11th, his second hole of the day, to fall to 1-more than, while Jones collected successive birdies on the 13th and 14th following also teeing off on number 10 on Friday.
Tighe and defending champion and planet number one Jordan Spieth will hit off just right after midday (AEDT).
Tighe, the world quantity 1,022 from Wollongong in New South Wales, shocked the golfing planet with his sizzling 5-below 66 in the opening round as Spieth laboured to a 71.
The American will be hoping the leaders do not kick clear prior to he hits the fairways for his second round as he appears to turn into the initial player to go back-to-back at the Open in far more than a decade.
