A pregnant lady has been assaulted for the duration of an attempted residence invasion in Sydney’s west.
Police say a man approached the 24-year-old outdoors her residence on Federal Road, Seven Hills about 1.30am this morning.
The woman was allegedly threatened with a knife and punched in the stomach even though two other men tried to acquire entry to her property.
The trio then fled allegedly stealing the woman’s 2007-model grey Holden Commodore sedan.
The woman was treated for shock by paramedics at the scene.
Inspector Sharon Blacklock mentioned it was not recognized what sparked the attack.
“The lady was pregnant, but in the early stages of pregnancy, but of course at any time it really is not appropriate to be assaulting a female or any individual,” Inspector Blacklock stated.
The victim’s car was found burnt out in Toongabbie. It was towed for forensic examination.
“Police have established a crime scene at the house and the detectives are now creating further enquiries.
“They did leave in one more vehicle a white Suzuki Swift hatch so we’re also hunting for that vehicle.”
1 of the males is described as getting of Caucasian look aged about 30, with a medium create, moustache, goatee and short hair.
The other guys are only described as speaking with a “New Zealand accent”.
