Man shoots at passenger of parked car in Gold Coast, drives off

Gold Coast police are investigating a shooting outdoors a restaurant in Merrimac.

Police said a man parked his automobile on Gooding Drive about three:40pm and got out of the automobile prior to firing several shots into yet another automobile parked on the street.

The man then got back into his vehicle and drove off.

The 24-year-old male passenger of the second automobile was injured in the shooting and received therapy for leg injuries at Robina Hospital.

A 19-year-old lady is assisting police with their inquiries.

‘Sickening blow’: Police charge man more than Gold Coast attack on Korean student

A man has been charged for allegedly kicking a Korean student in the head and robbing him even though unconscious outside a Gold Coast karaoke bar.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Procter stated two guys approached the student and his companion outside the bar in Southport Mall early on Wednesday morning.

He is due to appear before the Southport Magistrates Court nowadays.

A search is underway on the Gold Coast for a weapon police think was utilised in the suspected murder of Gold Coast man Gregory Dufty.

Detective Superintendent Dave Hutchinson stated one particular of the three males charged over the 37-year-old’s death gave details with regards to the disposal of weapons.
